To represent the student body of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University.

To channel messages between the members and Department of the Civil and Environmental Engineering, HKUST.

To promote the general welfare of the members of the Society.

To establish and maintain contacts with the other societies and individuals of similar interests.

To establish and maintain contacts with the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and The Institution of Civil Engineers, Hong Kong Association (ICE, HKA).

To promote the professional manner amongst members of the Society.

To arouse public interest in civil engineering.
